MJ is a lifelong lover of all animals and spent most of her childhood riding her horse in shows and caring for every hurt bird or injured squirrel in the neighborhood. She grew up in a home that always had one large and one small breed dog and spent quite a bit of time showing these pets!! After studying at the University of Kentucky, MJ began a career in real estate and political consulting as well as breeding and showing Norwegian Elkhounds. This adventure allowed for a deeper insight into the behavior, habits and health of her pets that went on to include German Shepherd, Brittany, rescue and Esme the Goldendoodle! Esme is also the proud sister of a rescue named Grendel. Grendel is a lab/chow who was used as bait and has had a very interesting behavioral journey which will be shared. Esme is the heart and soul of the family and we are excited to share with you are stories, tips and recipes along with photos !!
